Day 1: Tour to Giza Pyramids, Memphis, Sakkara & Dahshur Pyramids
Your tour begins at 8:00 am with pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by an Emo Tours professional guide. Start your full-day excursion by visiting the iconic Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Explore the Valley Temple, where priests mummified the body of King Chephren, and enjoy a close-up view of the legendary Sphinx - the guardian of the funerary complex. A memorable camel ride around the Great Pyramids is included, as well as a visit to the Solar Boat Museum and the Great Pyramid.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, offering a full meal for each guest (beverages not included).
Continue your journey to Sakkara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo, to visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. This site marks a significant stage in the evolution of pyramid construction, transitioning from simple mastabas to the well-known pyramid form.
Next, visit the Dahshur Pyramids, a royal necropolis on the West Bank of the Nile, approximately 40 km south of Cairo. Dahshur is renowned for its ancient pyramids, including two of Egypt’s oldest, largest, and best-preserved, built between 2613–2589 BCE.
Conclude your day with a visit to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the impressive Alabaster Sphinx. This historic city dates back to 3100 BCE. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch
Day 2: Tour to Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Bazaar & Departure
Your second day begins at 9:00 am with pickup from your hotel by an Emo Tours guide. Visit the renowned Egyptian Museum, which houses the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian antiquities. The museum features over 250,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years, including the exclusive treasures of Tutankhamun - a collection of gold, jewelry, and artifacts discovered in his tomb in the 1920s.
Continue to the Citadel of Saladin, where you will visit the famous Mohamed Ali Mosque. The tour proceeds to the historic Khan Khalili Bazaar, where you can experience the vibrant atmosphere and explore Islamic sites in Cairo.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant, along with snacks and bottled water (bottle of water, can of Pepsi, chips, and sweet cake) during the tour. After the tour, you will be transferred back to Cairo airport.
Day 3: Tour to Coptic and Islamic Cairo
Begin your day at 8:00 am with pickup from your hotel by an Emo Tours guide. Lunch is included at a local restaurant (beverages not included).
Continue your exploration in Islamic Cairo, founded in 641 AD by the first Muslim leader Amr Ibn Elas. Visit the Amr Ibn Elas Mosque, built in 642 AD at El Fustat. Proceed to the impressive Sultan Hassan Mosque, also known as Madrasa El Sultan Hassan, constructed in 1356 AD, a monumental example of Mamluk architecture near the Citadel.
